All About our 1969 VW

A question we get asked a lot is ‘what year is your van?’ It was made in Germany in 1969. We drive around to farmers markets and street festivals and we slide open the door and we have twelve candles on the side. Open the back and there’s twelve candles back there. Power nothing: no power steering, no power brakes, no power windows, no power locks of course. It doesn’t have A/C or heating. The driver sits over the axle; so the geometry of driving this is very different from driving most cars. It’s a real adventure. But a lot of fun. I love it so much!
